**Required Certifications:** - State license - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) by AHA - PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - NIH (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) **Preferred Certifications:** - ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) preferred - CPI*, MAB*, ENPC* **Required Experience:** - Level I trauma experience required - Minimum of 2 years of experience required - Interpretation and Management of dysrhythmias - EPIC charting experience **Preferred Experience:** - Unit accepts first-time travelers - Continuous IV sedation and Procedural Sedation Administration experience - Triage experience **Skills:** - Arterial line management - BiPAP/CPAP management - Blood product administration - Care of ventilated patient - Central line care/management - Continuous IV sedation - CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident) care - General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi experience - Gunshot wounds care - Head injury care - ICP monitoring - Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs) - Management of dysrhythmias - Neuro-Trauma and Ortho trauma experience - Pediatric Emergency Department experience - Phlebotomy - Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring - Spinal cord injury care - Starting and maintaining IVs - Triage skills **Licensure:** - MI License must be active by start date.
