Summer Grounds (Temporary Summer Position)

Summer Grounds Helper

Provides seasonal grounds services for Plymouth-Canton Community Schools. Must be 18 years of age, possess good character, cooperative, and a good work attitude. Must have a valid State Vehicle Operator's License and be able to work in inclement weather. Able to meet physical demands including lifting or moving 50 pounds or more. Prior experience with lawn equipment is a plus.

Major duties include maintaining buildings to standards, picking up trash, weeding flower beds, spreading dirt and mulch, cutting grass, operating ground equipment, and performing other duties as directed.

Reports to the Grounds Supervisor and the Director of Capital Programs and Facilities. Salary is $16.00 per hour. Position is temporary from May 2026 until Labor Day.

Physical demands include standing, talking or hearing, walking, sitting, bending, pushing, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
