As a Radiology Technician, you will be preparing patients for their procedures by adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment, and changing controls and exposure to capture the required results. You will also be assisting in maintaining and cleaning radiology equipment, troubleshooting minor issues, and maintaining an inventory of daily supplies. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, prior experience working in a medical setting, and excellent attention to detail. Every Other Weekend Required... No On-Call… 1 + Years of Experience Required… BLS and ARRT Certifications Required... NJDEP License Required prior to start... Types of procedures: All routine CT procedures... Radiology department uses the following equipment: 2 x-ray rooms Philips 1 x-ray room carestream 1 x-ray room Seimens (ED) 2 portables carestream 1 portable Philips 4 GE c-arms (Main hospital) 2 GE c-arms (ASC) Responsibilities Get to know patients to understand their medical needs and concerns, building and maintaining connections Set up equipment for testing, adjust immobilization devices, move equipment, and adjust exposure to get the proper results Thoroughly document all patient services within a patient’s chart Maintain all equipment, troubleshoot problems as needed, and call in for repairs when necessary Follow all required safety regulations, including wearing appropriate safety gear, to maintain a safe work environment Qualifications American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience with medical charting desired Strong attention to detail #J-18808-Ljbffr
