Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the nature and severity of clients' mood disorder symptoms, documenting findings accurately. \n
- Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that are tailored to their unique needs, preferences, and personal goals. \n
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to foster effective treatment outcomes. \n
- Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to promote mental health. \n
- Continuously monitor client progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure ongoing effectiveness and achievement of therapeutic goals. \n
- Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration, working alongside psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care to our clients. \n
- Stay current with research developments in the field of mood disorders and incorporate new findings into treatment methodologies. \n
- Maintain strict confidentiality and accurate record-keeping in adherence to legal, regulatory, and ethical standards. \n
- Participate in professional development opportunities, case consultations, and team meetings to enhance collective knowledge and skills. \n
- Actively advocate for clients’ mental health needs and support initiatives to reduce stigma surrounding mental health disorders. \n
This role specifically focuses on supporting individuals facing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Our clients are often diverse and may include at-risk populations such as refugees, victims of domestic violence, and the homeless community. The therapist will provide guidance, compassionate care, and a safe space for clients to navigate their challenges and work towards recovery.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required. \n
- A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field. \n
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, essential for establishing trust and facilitating therapeutic relationships with clients. \n
- Demonstrated empathy and a nonjudgmental demeanor when engaging with clients and understanding their experiences. \n
- Strong organizational and time-management capabilities to effectively balance client caseloads and administrative responsibilities. \n

- Prior experience working with under-served or high-risk populations is advantageous. \n

- Annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. \n
