Project Executive

We are seeking a Project Executive to serve as the senior leader and primary client point of contact for a large-scale (~$100M) mission-critical interior fit-out project. This individual will oversee all aspects of project delivery, including MEP systems, structural upgrades, schedule, budget, and client communication, while also playing a key role in business development and future project pursuits.

This is a high-visibility leadership role requiring a strong combination of operational execution, client relationship management, and strategic growth mindset within the data center construction space

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Ownership

• Maintain full ownership of project performance from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
• Oversee MEP coordination (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) and structural upgrades within an active data center environment
• Monitor project financials including cost forecasting, risk management, and schedule adherence
• Partner closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to drive execution and resolve issues in real time

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, providing executive-level updates and ensuring alignment on project goals
• Lead progress meetings, executive reviews, and stakeholder communications
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal leadership

Field Oversight & Execution

• Conduct regular site walks with project teams to proactively identify risks, quality concerns, and schedule impacts
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and commissioning standards across all trades
• Support resolution of complex field issues across multi-disciplinary teams

Preconstruction & Business Development

• Partner with preconstruction teams to support bidding, estimating, and proposal development
• Contribute to winning new work, leveraging existing client relationships and industry presence
• Assist in strategic planning for future projects and long-term client growth

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience with a general contractor in commercial construction
• 3+ years of experience as a Project Executive or Senior Project Manager leading large-scale projects
• Proven experience delivering mission-critical or data center projects (strongly preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects $50M+ with full P&L responsibility
• Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Experience supporting hyperscale, colocation, or enterprise data center clients
• Background in MEP-intensive projects and critical systems environments
