Senior OutSystems Developer

Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior OutSystems Developer to join our team in New York City. The ideal candidate will help drive and manage complex OutSystems projects, including mobile and web dashboards, working both onsite and remotely. You will play a key role in optimizing application development, identifying code issues through AI Mentor Studio, and implementing workflows and business processes. This role requires collaboration with our offshore and nearshore teams, independence, dedication, and possible after-hours deployment support.

Responsibilities:

• Help drive the development and implementation of complex OutSystems applications, including mobile and web dashboards.
• rchitect and design solutions using OutSystems workflows, BPT (Business Process Technology), and reactive development.
• Identify and resolve code issues using AI Mentor Studio to enhance application quality.
• Implement front-end enhancements using CSS, JavaScript, and Angular, ensuring seamless UI/UX experiences.
• Collaborate closely with offshore, nearshore, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects on time.

Responsibilities [cont.]:

• Provide application support, including troubleshooting and debugging.
• Manage and optimize OutSystems app performance, scalability, and usability.
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues.
• Work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions for domains such as operations, credit, and private equity.
• Coordinate production releases to ensure smooth deployments and readiness for business operations, while also supporting possible after-hours deployment when needed.
• Establish and manage the OutSystems Center of Excellence (CoE).
• Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients, delivering updates and written documentation when needed.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in OutSystems or similar technologies.
• Proven experience helping drive OutSystems projects, particularly complex or large-scale implementations.
• 5+ years of experience collaborating with offshore and nearshore teams.
• Strong proficiency in OutSystems development, including mobile and web dashboards, reactive web apps, workflows, and BPT.
• Hands-on experience with AI Mentor Studio for identifying and resolving code issues.
• Deep knowledge of front-end technologies such as CSS, JavaScript, and Angular.
• Strong UI/UX design skills and understanding of responsive web design principles.
• Independent, driven, and dedicated, with a willingness to provide after-hours deployment support if needed.
• Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills for application support.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• bility to work 3 days onsite in our Midtown Manhattan office and 2 days remote.
• Experience working in a collaborative, agile environment.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of mentoring junior developers.
• Experience working in domains such as operations, credit, private equity, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

• OutSystems certifications, such as those for Security Specialist, Professional Web Developer, Mobile Developer, and more, are a plus.
• Previous experience in a leadership or senior developer role.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Experience with integrating external APIs and services in OutSystems.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and performance optimization techniques.
