We are looking for a passionate individual who is a self-learner, has good communication skills and an inclination for new technologies.Your Responsibilities:Collaborate closely with stakeholders and other engineers to develop new and unique data-driven solutions using Big Data platforms, creative analytical methods, and data visualization techniques (Data Modeling etc.)Connect and build pipelines between various data sourcesSupport operational improvement and business decision making through ad-hoc statistical analysis of curated enterprise data and self-constructed data setsLeading BI software development, deployment, and maintenanceDocumenting contents in a data warehouse and meta-data storageCreating technical documentation for BI toolsData modelingDevelop KPI dashboardsPerform additional duties as assignedAct with honesty and integrity and make ethical business choices in accordance with Magna's Compliance Policies and ProceduresWho We Are Looking For:Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Supply Chain or equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum three (3) years of related experience requiredExpertise in using advance level calculations on the data setsIn-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) frameworkStrong experience with relational databases like SQL Server, MySQL, and Oracle. NoSQL databases experience is a plusExperience with user-defined workflowsYour Preferred Qualifications:Working knowledge of data management software like Data factory, or other ETL tools a plusKnowledgeable of statistical methods such as regression, probability analysis, risk analysis, statistical process control, and clustering is desiredAble to implement row level security on data and understand application security layer modelsData and business analysis backgroundProficient with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPointAbility to explain Production / technical concepts and analysis implications clearly to a wide audience and be able to translate business objectives into actionable analyses.In addition, we offer you the following site benefits: An overview of our benefits will be discussed during the recruitment process.Awareness.
