- Strong hands-on Java development experience.
- Strong Spring / Spring Boot experience.
- Experience developing microservices.
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs.
- Experience with AWS/cloud-based application environments.
- Experience troubleshooting backend application and performance issues.
- Strong understanding of enterprise application development.
- Git/GitHub experience.
- Agile development experience.
- Must have previous client experience working for this customer in the past 5 years.
- Financial services experience.
- Experience with API development and integration.
- Experience with application security and vulnerability remediation.
- Experience with AI-assisted coding tools.
- Experience working across multiple applications/projects.
- Switching between projects every few months when required.
- Learning new applications and business domains quickly.
- Working with different project managers and stakeholders.
- Managing changing priorities and deadlines.
- Taking ownership of assigned work with limited ramp-up time.
- Collaborating with different engineering teams.
- Applying the same core technology stack across different initiatives.
