Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with experience in a Long-Term Care (LTC) setting for a 13-week assignment. This role involves providing essential nursing care and support to patients.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and treatments
• Administer medications as prescribed
• Notify the attending physician or nurse practitioner of significant patient information
• Assist with patient admissions and discharges
• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Care for patients with gastrostomy tubes
• Manage urinary catheters
• Administer nebulized treatments
• Provide wound vac care
• Care for patients using CPAP machines
• Complete other assigned duties as required

Shift Information:

Shifts are variable and will be determined based on patient census and facility needs.

Requirements:

• Must have experience working in a Long-Term Care setting
• Proof of flu vaccination or an approved medical/religious exemption application is required prior to the start date
• Flu vaccination can be administered during the employee health clearance appointment
• Must arrive by the Thursday before the start date to attend the employee health appointment on Friday
