Senior Living Transport Driver (no CDL Required)

Pay rate for this position is based on experience. Responsibilities Assist residents in their transportation needs by driving passenger buses to and from activities and destinations, ensuring the safety of all passengers. Drive daily and weekly route schedules as well as special requests. Assist residents with loading and unloading the bus: operate lift, carry residents’ belongings, open and close walkers and wheelchairs, carry oxygen tanks and follow basic instructions and precautions in their use. Run errands for events and community as requested. Conduct periodic checks of bus operation, including fuel, oil, wipers, fluids, lights, etc. Maintain cleanliness of the bus, ensuring interior and exterior are clean, vacuumed, and free of garbage. Maintain logs and records pertaining to vehicle service. When no transportation is needed, assist in the Activities Department. Qualifications Applicant must be a driver in good standing and able to pass a background check with the insurance provider. Must have at least 1 year of experience driving a bus; prior experience working with seniors preferred.
