The Corporate Accountant will be responsible for a variety of hands-on accounting and analytical activities while gaining exposure to multiple areas of the business. As the individual develops, there will be opportunities to take ownership of specific accounting functions, become a subject matter expert, and work closely with other members of the finance organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.

• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and analyze income statement accounts.

• Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

• Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX requirements.

• Partner with corporate finance and FP&A teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, and efficiencies.

• Participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of accounting or finance experience.

• Corporate accounting or public accounting experience preferred.

• CPA designation or interest in pursuing CPA certification is a plus.

• Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting.

• Proficiency in Excel; experience with Oracle, JD Edwards, or comparable ERP systems preferred.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
