Speech Language Pathologist, SLP, Tampa, FL

A school-based Speech Language Pathologist can make a lasting difference by helping students improve their ability to communicate, participate in class, and build confidence in social and academic settings. This position gives the SLP the opportunity to support students with a wide range of communication needs while collaborating with a dedicated school team.

Minimum Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a closely related field.
• Active Florida Speech Language Pathologist license, or eligibility to obtain Florida licensure.
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred.
• Clinical Fellows may be considered when appropriate supervision is available.
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
• Evaluate students and identify speech, language, fluency, and communication needs.
• Create and maintain IEP documentation, progress reports, and therapy records.
• Partner with teachers, parents, and school staff to help students generalize skills in the classroom.
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning.
