Instructor (CRNA/CAA)

The Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus seeks a full‑time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) or Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA). The role involves administering care under the medical direction of an attending Anesthesiologist, documenting pre‑operative, intra‑operative and post‑operative care, and complying with the department’s quality assurance processes. The position is full‑time and may be assigned to any University of Colorado‑affiliated hospital, including the University of Colorado Hospital and its affiliates.

Requirements

• Successful completion of an accredited nurse anesthetist or anesthesiologist assistant educational program.
• Active certification by the Council on Accreditation of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists or the American Association of Anesthesiologist Assistants.
• Successful registration in the Advanced Practice Registry and licensure as a registered nurse by the Colorado State Board of Nursing.

Pay Range

Base Salary: $225,000 – $253,575. Annual Base Plus Level 1 Trauma Pay Differential: $235,000 – $290,000. Not eligible for overtime unless non‑exempt.
