About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required. Must be able to circulate general surgery cases, including surgical oncology, colorectal, minimally invasive surgery, plastics, endocrine, pancreas/biliary, and bariatrics. Must be able to scrub general OR cases, including surgical oncology, colorectal, pancreas/biliary, minimally invasive surgery, plastics, endocrine, and bariatric cases. First-timers accepted only with 5+ years of experience. License: SC or multi-state RN license must be in hand at the start of the contract. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required. Must be from AHA. Must-Have: Clienttion badge; will be provided by the agency. RTO must be provided at the time of submission. Description: This role involves working three 12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday. On-call shifts are required, with a rotation of 4 to 6 call shifts every four weeks. Holiday call may also be required. The RN will work in a level I trauma center, which is a teaching facility. The hospital accommodates a broad range of patient diagnoses and surgeries. There are interdisciplinary support teams available, including respiratory, radiology, and pharmacy services. Patients are primarily adults, with a daily census requiring the care of an average of 28 patients. This position entails a focus on both circulating and scrubbing within the operating room.
