Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician

Jackson & Coker is seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in New York. This high-priority role involves comprehensive clinic coverage, inpatient rounding on antepartum patients, and ultrasound interpretation across three hospitals. The ideal candidate will manage high-risk pregnancies and contribute to teaching and quality improvement initiatives. Practice Info Full inpatient antepartum and outpatient high-risk OB clinic coverage Outpatient clinic averages approximately 20 patients per session, 3 sessions per week, with 2 additional providers sharing the patient panel (approximately 6 patients per provider) High-acuity patient population including diabetes, hypertension, fetal growth restriction (FGR), advanced maternal age (AMA), and obesity No labor and delivery coverage Responsibilities Provide full-scope clinic coverage, inpatient rounding on antepartum patients, ultrasound interpretation, and possible night/weekend phone coverage as needed for 3 hospitals Provide comprehensive consultations for high-risk pregnancies, including maternal and fetal complications Perform and interpret advanced obstetric ultrasounds, fetal echocardiography (if applicable), Doppler studies, and prenatal diagnostic procedures Work collaboratively with residents, APPs, and attending physicians Round on inpatient admissions, including daily notes, management plans, review of hospitalization events, and consultation with additional services as needed Direct patient management and development of management plans for generalist attendings Provide eConsults for clinical questions and management issues as requested Supervise and teach residents, fellows (if applicable), medical students, and sonographers Benefits Top-rated malpractice insurance Full-service in-house travel agency and credentialing coordinators 24/7 recruiter availability Shift & Schedule Possible night/weekend phone coverage as needed Possible weekend and/or night phone coverage as needed Requirements Need an MFM physician
