Test and Evaluation Specialist - Senior (EPASS 79 EB)

DCS has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Test and Evaluation Specialist supporting fourth generation aircraft for an Air Force acquisition mission at Eglin AFB, FL. The candidate will provide test and evaluation technical and engineering support across test concept development, test methodology development, test plan development, test execution, and test reporting, including data reduction and analysis and end-user operational testing. Essential Job Functions: Provide T&E technical and engineering support by documenting the review, test concept development, test methodology development, test plan development, test execution, and test reporting, data reduction and analysis, and end-user operational Utilize and apply Design of Experiments methods to plan and conduct tests Prepare (or advise others in the preparation of) criteria, computation/analyses, specifications, cost estimates test plans, and technical reports in the specific area of technical expertise. Select and apply engineering techniques and procedures to analyze and evaluate specific problem, data, or other features of the work which are broad in scope and Review and evaluate the quantity, quality, and overall adequacy of results and conclusions drawn from accomplishment of test engineering tasks. Develop new and innovative approaches to problems encountered, and accomplish assigned tasks with efficiency, timeliness, and thoroughness. Evaluate the configuration, capability, and operational relevance of test environments and ensure they are properly available for the thorough testing of software releases (e.g. fault insertion/fault identification). De-conflict schedule conflicts between multiple releases, providing high quality analysis and recommendations to the program test lead. Required Skills: Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, US Citizenship is required. An Associate’s degree plus 15 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline plus 10 years of experience is required. Active DoD Secret Security Clearance. Travel: Travel may be required per the customer's discretion. Desired Skills: Education and experience: Associates degree and 20 years of relevant experience; OR Bachelor’s in engineering (ABET-accredited) and 15 years of relevant experience.
