Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidates geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity./ppShift Time:/ppMonday through Thursday, 4:00pm to 9:30pm/ppWarehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers./ppResponsibilities:/pulliResponsible for compliance and regulations concerning OSHA, DEA, FDA, and state/local authorities; adherence to cGMP guidelines/liliApplies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks./liliReadily learns and applies new information and methods to work in assigned area/liliMaintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications./liliWorks on routine assignments that require some problem resolution./liliWork typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisor./liliFollow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to process orders including accurately picking, performing quality control checks, and sorting./liliPerform housekeeping and inventory control tasks, maintaining a clean work environment including complying with all Environmental Health and Safety requirements./liliPerforms other duties and/or participates in projects as assigned by your manager or other management team member./li/ulpWhat is expected of you for success in your role:/pulliDemonstrates working knowledge or proficiency in one or more assigned areas of responsibility:/liliMay also require material handling equipment certification/liliAccurately performs multiple operational tasks assigned to the individual/liliDemonstrates basic material handling/ packaging /warehouse equipment skills/liliPerforms one or more warehouse operations functions within the operating guidelines of the facility/liliDemonstrates effective oral communication skills/li/ulpWhat is expected of you and others at this level:/pulliApplies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks/liliReadily learns and applies new information and methods to work in assigned area/liliMaintains appropriate licenses, training, and certifications/liliWorks on routine assignments that require some problem resolution/liliWorks within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods/liliAdheres to all quality guidelines/liliWorks under moderate degree of supervision/liliWork typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisor/liliRefers complex unusual problems to supervisor/li/ulpQualifications:/pulliHigh School Diploma or GED preferred/lili1 - 2 years related experience preferred/liliRadiofrequency (RF) scanner and/or voice to pick experience highly preferred/liliAbility to consistently lift 80 Ibs and be able to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift of 8 hours or more required/liliComfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly/liliAbility to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift/liliMust be able to work overtime with little to no advance notice/liliWillingness to learn to operate material handling equipment and rotate into various areas of the warehouse/liliAble and willing to work in freezer conditions (5F) to support vaccine order picking and packing when needed/liliWillingness to work in refer 36F-42F for up to 8 Hours or longer/li/ulpCandidates who are back-to-work, people with disabilities, without a college degree, and Veterans are encouraged to apply./ppCardinal Health supports an inclusive workplace that values diversity of thought, experience and background.
