CNC Machinist

Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for a direct hire opportunity in Valencia, CA, supporting precision manufacturing for the aerospace and defense industry. This role is ideal for a machinist with strong setup, operation, blueprint reading, and inspection experience who takes pride in producing high-tolerance components used in aircraft, spacecraft, and defense systems. The CNC Machinist will work in a quality-focused manufacturing environment where accuracy, safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement are essential. This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys hands‑on machining, collaborating with engineering and quality teams, and contributing to complex aerospace production work. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and multi‑axis machining centers to produce precision aerospace components. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and work instructions to meet customer and quality requirements. Load, edit, and adjust CNC programs, tooling, fixtures, and machine offsets to maintain dimensional accuracy. Perform first‑piece, in‑process, and final inspections using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, CMM equipment, and other precision measuring tools. Monitor machining operations, troubleshoot issues, document production data, and report nonconforming conditions. Follow safety procedures, quality standards, lean manufacturing practices, and routine machine maintenance requirements. Compensation and Benefits Direct hire opportunity.
