Apply now!Location:1102 Elida Ave - Delphos, Ohio 45833-1779Position Summary: Provides excellent customer service by utilizing a delivery vehicle to deliver pre-ordered items to residential and business customers. Receives in-store customer order and records specific delivery instructions. Provides added value by informing regular customers of new products and services and address customer questions and concerns. This position requires working weekends and holidays based on department staffing requirements.Here’s what you’ll do:Delivers pre-ordered items to residential and business customersLoads delivery vehicle with customer ordersReceives and writes customer order with delivery instructionsNavigates adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes and other delivery sites while carrying productCollects customer payment and record all sales and delivery transactionsEnsures customer signature on delivery receiptsInforms customers of new products and servicesPicks up empty containers and rejected or returned merchandiseMaintains clean delivery vehicle at all timesFiles and resolves service complaintsDemonstrates excellent customer service standardsWorks toward continuous quality improvementUpholds company culture, customer service, and performance expectationsUpholds, supports and promotes all company policies and proceduresFollow all PPE and Safety GuidelinesFollow all Food Safety and Cleaning ExpectationsFollow Guest Experience GuidelinesMay be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience needAdditional responsibilities may be assigned as neededHere’s what you’ll need:High school graduate or equivalent (GED)Must possess a valid driver’s license6 months previous grocery or delivery experience preferredAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memosAbility to write simple correspondenceAbility to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other Associates of the organizationPhysical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
