Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)

Assist physicians and other cath lab personnel in conducting diagnostic and interventional procedures. Operate advanced imaging equipment to capture essential images and data of the heart and vascular system. Contribute to patient care in a high-acuity hospital cath lab environment.

Minimum Qualifications

• ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist.
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) from CCI preferred. Preferred item.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a hospital Cath Lab setting. Client-specific requirement.
• BLS and ACLS certification. Client-specific requirement.
• Experience with Meditech EMR and MacLab or similar imaging systems preferred.
• Experience performing or supporting interventional cardiac, structural heart, peripheral vascular, and neuro-interventional procedures preferred.
• State-specific licensure when required.

Preferred Qualifications

• IR / Special Procedures experience preferred.
• Prior work in a unit with 1:1 procedure ratios and 3:1 holding ratios preferred.
• Energetic, outgoing, and patient-focused interpersonal style preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 07:00–17:30.
• Full call team capability 24/7; unit supports call coverage.
• Unit has four procedure rooms and six holding rooms.
• Typical team composition includes RNs and CVTs; approximately 16 staff on unit.
• Hospital will provide scrub attire.
