About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in a high acuity ICU License: RN License Certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA, PALS, TNCC preferred, NIHSS preferred Must-Have Skills/Experience: Minimum 2 years in a high acuity ICU. Ability to titrate complex IV infusions, including vasopressors. Description: Position available for a Registered Nurse specializing in ICU. The role involves caring for critically ill medical and surgical patients. May include management of traumas, strokes, and other complex cases. Flexible scheduling and teamwork are essential. Typical patient ratios include 1:2 but may adjust to 1:1 or 1:3 based on acuity and staffing. Equipment used includes IV pumps, chest tubes, monitoring systems, and feeding pumps. Must be adaptable, dependable, and focused on patient care and quality improvement. Dress code mandates wearing black scrubs without any unacceptable attire.
