In this onsite role based in Franklin, TN, you will work closely with insurance companies, patients, and internal teams to ensure timely reimbursement, accurate account management, and efficient collection of outstanding claims.This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys problem-solving, account follow-up, and building positive relationships while navigating the healthcare reimbursement process. Utilize claims clearing house to review and correct claims and to resubmit electronically when availableReview explanation of benefits to ascertain that claim processed and paid correctlyComplete adjustment forms if any adjustments need to be made to an account and attach all supporting documentationManage daily productivity via patient accounting system and productivity reports. Needs to maintain an average of 30-40 accounts worked per day minimumProrate patient accounts and monitor that balance due is in the correct financial classWeekly reporting to BOD an overview of the week and participate in AR meetingsGathers and interprets data from system and understands appropriate course of action to take and initiates time-sensitive and strategic steps resulting in paymentPerforms other essential duties as assignedWhat You'll BringHigh school diploma or equivalentExperience with Medicare preferredMinimum 5 years of job-related experience preferredAdvanced computer skills including Microsoft Office; especially Word, Excel, and PowerPointKnowledge of office administration procedures with the ability to operate most standard office equipmentAbility to work professionally with sensitive, proprietary data & information while maintaining confidentialityExcellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and externalExercises sound judgment in responding to inquiries; understands when to route inquiries to next levelSelf-motivated with strong organizational skills and superior attention to detailMust be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously within inflexible time frames.
