Senior Software Engineer – Native iOS We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with a strong focus on Native iOS application development to join RTX. This is a U.S.-based onsite role. The company will offer immigration sponsorship if needed. No security clearance is required. Responsibilities Develop, document, and maintain complex, high‑performance iOS applications as part of a small sprint team. Work extensively with Swift to build new features, while understanding and debugging legacy Objective‑C code when necessary. Collaborate closely with frontend and backend engineers, product owners, and designers to refine technical requirements. Integrate iOS applications with backend APIs and services, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and help establish and maintain best practices. Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues to support customers. Collaborate with development and QA teams to improve software quality, architecture, processes, and pipeline efficiency. Stay current with iOS and mobile development trends, tools, and technologies. Qualifications You Must Have: 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong emphasis on iOS and mobile development. Proficiency with Swift and standard iOS tools, frameworks and libraries (Xcode, Core Data). Experience with Objective‑C or proficiency with C‑style languages. Experience working with RESTful APIs. Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues and deliver high‑quality solutions. Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or an advanced degree with at least 3 years of related experience. We Prefer: Experience with Python, particularly in the context of backend API understanding and integration (Django or similar frameworks). Familiarity with CI/CD tools and integrated pipelines. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with standard collaborative tools (Atlassian Suite, Gitlab). Familiarity with Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines. Salary and Compensation The salary range for this role is USD 95,500 – 181,700, depending on experience and qualifications.
