About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Active license required Certifications: ACLS BCLS NIHSS Must-Have: Experience in continuous IV sedation Experience with CRRT/CVVHD Ability to assist with line insertion and intubation Knowledge of hypothermia protocols Description: Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit. This position requires working night shifts on a 3x12 schedule. The nurse will care for a max patient ratio of 1:2. Candidates must possess a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience. Certifications required include ACLS, BCLS, and NIHSS. The nurse will be responsible for managing complex patient conditions, including cardiac and pulmonary issues. Successful candidates must be comfortable floating to other ICU units as needed. Candidates must assist with line insertion and intubation procedures. Knowledge of CRRT and CVVHD as well as hypothermia protocols is essential. Experience with intra-aortic balloon pumps and managing dysrhythmias is preferred. Weekend work is required, with a schedule of 3 out of 6 weekends. No on-call duty is expected in this position. Candidates should be prepared for a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
