RF Engineer

We are seeking to hire an experienced RF engineering professional at our campus in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. This exciting role offers the RF professional an opportunity to be a key contributor on our team of industry‑leading RF design experts. What You Will Be Doing Support the production of complex multi‑function modules used in challenging high‑reliability applications in all phases of the product life cycle. Work on complex technical problems and provide solutions that are innovative and ingenious. Act independently to uncover and resolve issues associated with the implementation of operational products. Collaborate with other engineering disciplines including hardware engineers, systems engineers, and circuit design engineers as well as technical and manufacturing support personnel. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Basic Minimum Requirements Minimum of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or a BS in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) plus a minimum of 5+ years of relevant professional engineering experience. Experience with troubleshooting designs and resolving integration issues in a production or manufacturing environment. Experience with hands‑on hardware. Experience with RF microwave test equipment and microwave simulation tools. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Desired Skills Master’s degree in electrical engineering or a closely related technical field. Significant relevant experience in the defense electronics industry. Expertise with RF subsystems and hardware including antennas, transmitters, receivers, microwave components, low‑noise amplifiers, high‑power amplifiers, advanced electronic modules, mixers, switches, frequency generation circuits, and frequency conversion circuits. Experience with microelectronics assembly techniques. Expertise with technical documentation such as specifications, schematic drawings, and test data. Strong communication skills. Experience with customer interface including technical presentations. Prior RF design experience. Ability to lead failure investigations on production or technical issues.
