Lateral Associate IP and Patent Litigation - 6th to 8th Year

Job Overview Law firm seeks a Lateral Associate for IP and Patent Litigation in Washington, D.C. This role offers a hybrid work model with flexibility in office attendance. The position involves engaging in high-stakes intellectual property litigation, providing exposure to complex patent disputes across various legal forums. Duties Engage in high-stakes IP litigation from trial to appeal. Handle complex patent disputes in district courts, ITC, PTAB, and Federal Circuit. Collaborate with nationally recognized IP litigators. Participate in strategic decision-making and client interactions. Requirements JD and active attorney license in a U.S. jurisdiction. Eligibility to waive into the D.C. Bar or willingness to sit for the D.C. bar exam. 6–8 years of experience in patent and/or IP litigation. Strong foundation in IP and patent law. Stellar academic credentials. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications USPTO registration number desirable but not required.
