Our cold storage warehouse is looking for a detail-oriented, motivated Checker to join our team. This role builds on warehouse experience and takes on added responsibility for the accurate receiving and shipping of perishable products in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment. This is a physically demanding job. This is a full-time position with overtime.

Schedule: M-F AM shift starting as early as 5:30 am.

Starting hourly rate: $22.25

What you'll be doing:

While working in a cold environment (38-45 degrees), you will be:

• Using an RF scanner to receive inbound loads and scan product into our warehouse management system
• Taking product temperatures and verifying cold chain compliance upon receipt
• Reconciling product counts against bills of lading and flagging any discrepancies
• Inspecting incoming trailers, containers, and boxcars for product integrity and equipment condition
• Tagging and labeling product pallets with ID labels and entering information accurately into the warehouse system

You will also support all Warehouse Associate duties, including:

• Unloading and loading pallets from trailers and bobtails
• Hand-stacking of cases onto containers.
• Re-stacking pallets
• Transporting pallets in and out of freezers and coolers to the docks
