Interim Administrative Assistant House Based

Interim Position

Primary Purpose: Under the direct supervision of the assistant principals, the administrative assistant will provide support to the house office.

Administrative Duties:

• Provides documentation of the tardy/dismissal process.
• Compiles files and reports as needed.
• Assigns and maintains student locker assignments and maintenance.
• Assists in organizing all school-wide events.
• Oversees office space which includes supervising students when waiting for a caregiver, AP, other staff member.
• Performs other reasonable duties as required by Supervisor(s).

Organizational Skills:

• Maintains schedules and makes arrangements for meetings, conferences, and interviews.
• Demonstrates a solid understanding of Google services as well as other technology-related skills and platforms appropriate to department needs.
• Maintains standard office records for the department as necessary.
• Sorts and distributes interoffice and other mail as needed.
• Maintains proper filing system.

• Maintains utmost levels of professionalism within the office and school community.

Qualification Profile:

Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to: High School Diploma (minimum) Associates Degree or higher preferred Successful experience as Administrative Support, a minimum of three years. Salary consistent with the collective bargaining agreement.
