Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Olympia, Washington. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/17/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS/Tele) Registered Nurse (RN) position located at the healthcare facility. This role involves float nursing across various units, providing comprehensive patient care, and may include charge responsibilities on small units. The position requires adaptable clinical skills and the ability to work night shifts. Job Details Schedule: Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Valid health care professional license in the relevant state, at least 2 years of experience in medical-surgical with telemetry, charge nurse experience preferred, certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS, experience with Cardiac Telemetry, interpretation of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions, and management of dysrhythmias. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the US, Canadian experience alone is not sufficient. Additional Information: Nurse to patient ratio varies from 1:4 to 6 depending on unit acuity. The role involves floating to fill staffing needs across different units, including ER boarded patients, telemetry, and medical-surgical floors. May include charge responsibilities on small units supported by LPNs and CNAs. Candidates must have experience working in the US healthcare environment. Applicants should include responses regarding prior employment at Providence facilities, providing two references covering one year within the last three years. Travelers are expected to float between nearby sister facilities, and refusal to float may result in contract termination. The assignment start date is 11/17/2026, with an end date of 02/16/2027. Candidates must have a valid compact license in hand at submission and be within a 50-mile radius of the facility. All modules: non-billable, to be completed pre-start and during orientation, recorded in Workramp transcripts.
