Position Overview: Billing Specialist

• Process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Review billing information for accuracy and completeness
• Maintain accurate billing records and account documentation
• Monitor outstanding balances and assist with collections as needed
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries
• Communicate with customers via phone and email regarding invoices, payments, and account questions
• Apply customer payments and maintain accurate account balances
• Reconcile billing records and assist with month-end close activities
• Prepare billing reports and provide support to the accounting team
• Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, and supporting documentation
• Assist with other accounting and administrative projects as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of billing, accounts receivable, or related accounting experience
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
