About the Position

Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) (Locum Tenens)

Location: Texas

Schedule: Shift-based coverage; schedule varies

Position Overview

Emergency department APP coverage in a collaborative EM model. Providers should be comfortable managing acute presentations and working alongside physician coverage.

Clinical Scope

• Emergency department evaluation and management
• Acute care procedures consistent with scope and site capability
• Collaboration with physician and nursing teams

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Texas NP license (and RN license) or active, unrestricted Texas PA license
• National certification (AANP or ANCC for NP; NCCPA for PA)
• DEA registered to Texas address if required for the role
• Current ACLS and ATLS may be required per site
• Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify

• Credentialing may require recent case logs and CME documentation
