Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Operating Room

Contract | Travel | Days, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment | Projected Start: August 31, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scrub technologist duties in a 16-bed Operating Room performing a wide range of surgical procedures including total joints, spine, transplants (kidney/liver), robotics, vascular, ENT, and plastics
• Operate and assist with advanced surgical technology including DaVinci Robotics
• Document and manage patient information using Meditech/CPN EMR systems
• Participate in on-call rotation, including weekend on-call (typically 8–12 calls per 8-week period) with a 30-minute response time required
• Self-schedule shifts following an initial orientation scheduling period

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist; at least 6 months of current acute care hospital CST experience required
• NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) certification required and must be active
• DORA (Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies) certification required and must be active
• BLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Transplant experience (kidney and/or liver) highly preferred
• Spine surgical experience
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
