JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a Machinist I to operate machine tools according to standard specifications while maintaining quality and safety standards in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have basic mechanical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow blueprints, specifications, and established procedures.

JOB DUTIES

• Operate machine tools in accordance with standard specifications and established procedures.
• Control and monitor machine operations to ensure proper performance.
• Inspect and control the quality of finished products to ensure they meet blueprints and specifications.
• Identify machine or production problems and promptly alert the appropriate personnel.
• Follow all safety requirements, procedures, and manufacturing floor guidelines.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Basic mechanical skills.
• Up to one year of relevant machining or manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and technical specifications.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and manufacturing instructions.
