General Information:
Number of Beds: 30
Number of Staff: 40+
Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 4-5 RNs/LPNs, 2-3 Nursing Assistants
Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 4-5 RNs/LPNs, 2-3 Nursing Assistants
Patient Ratios: SD/ICU 2-4:1; Med-Surg 5-6:1
Equipment: IV pumps, SCDs, glucometer, wound vac, feeding pump, lift equipment, Pyxis (nurses only)
EMR: Cerner


Typical Procedures:
IV starts, central venous line insertions, arterial lines, Foley catheters, EKG monitoring, wound care.


Best Personality Fit:
Candidates should be able to function in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
We care for all levels of patients from med/surg to ICU.


Floating Areas: TCU
Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs for nurses; galaxy/royal blue scrubs for nursing assistants.


Unit Guidelines:
The unit utilizes a team-based care model.
All care providers meet daily to discuss patient care, treatments, and discharge needs.
Weekend rotation and holiday staffing applies.
