Forklift Warehouse Worker – AM Shift Build Your Warehouse Career

Openwork is hiring an experienced Forklift Warehouse Worker for an established, employee-owned distribution and fabrication company in Houston. This is a great opportunity for someone with forklift and warehouse experience who is dependable, safety-focused, and looking for stable, long-term work.

Position at a Glance:

Location: Houston, TX 77095.
Pay: $19.00–$19.75 per hour | Weekly Pay.
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–3:30 PM.
Future Schedule: May transition to 6:30 AM–3:30 PM.
Overtime: As needed based on business needs.
Employment Type: Full-Time.

• Operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts.
• Load, unload, move, and stage materials.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders.
• Receive and inspect incoming materials.
• Stock and organize warehouse inventory.
• Use RF scanners or basic computer systems to track inventory.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.

• 1+ year of forklift operating experience required.
• Sit-down and/or stand-up forklift experience.
• Warehouse, shipping/receiving, distribution, or material-handling experience preferred.
• RF scanner or basic computer experience preferred.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Reliable and consistent attendance.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work well with a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Flexibility to work overtime and adjust to the future schedule if needed.

• $19.00–$19.75 per hour.
