Engineering teams around the globe use our systems to develop next-generation communication, consumer electronics and computer products.We are looking for a talented Senior QA Engineer with solid Bluetooth knowledge to join us as part of our Frontline Test Services Team, providing world-class interoperability and consultancy to Teledyne LeCroy customers.This position will support our customers in using the industry’s leading-edge technologies and tools. The successful candidate will have the passion and technical aptitude to become a subject matter expert in the field of connectivity technologies, be self-motivated and be able to perform under pressure and deadlines.As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for working with customers to provide detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases to ensure that products are bug free and provide a great customer experience.In this role, you will be able to grow with us as you work with multiple teams. Also, you will have the ability to take technical specifications and clearly translate them into test requirements. You will be a subject matter expert and will have the ability to continue to grow into new technologies across service offerings.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESCoordinate with customers to create work item plans to ensure work, deliverables and delivery dates are defined at start of each projectContinually track projects, ensuring that progress is as expected and ensure that issues can be mitigatedProvide verbal and written test reports to customersResponsible for peer review and quality control of all test documentationProvide Root Cause Analysis of defects substantiated with device logs and Over-the-air Capture FilesIs self-motivated and able to thrive under production pressure and deadlinesDemonstrate good interpersonal skills and can collaborate effectively with co-workersSelf-improvement training where requiredKeep track of updates to technical specifications and report to customers if necessaryDevelop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts to improve test efficiency and coverageMentor QA Team in technical mattersEDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE5+ years of working within a test or QA environment2+ years of software experience preferably in PythonBSc/BEng in Engineering or relevant field, or equivalent experienceKnowledge of Bluetooth protocols and how those protocols are implementedExperience with Python programmingExcellent organizational skillsAbility to perform well under pressure, to set and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervisionExcellent problem solving and analytical skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPreferredExperience in interoperability testingExperience with Bluetooth technologies and specificationsExperience using protocol analyzers and wireless sniffersExperience with mobile consumer devices and/or automotive infotainment systemsMust be able to travelTeledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
