Program Facilitator - Special Education & Behavior Intervention

Position APTS® is searching for a Program Facilitator – Behavior Intervention & Special Education. Monday - Friday, 7:30 am‑3:30 pm. • 1,000 sign‑on bonus
• 500 after 6 months, then $500 after a year

Pay Increases Tier 1: $500 increase Tier 2: $2,000 increase Tier 3: $2,500 increase Responsibilities Support the Special Education Teacher in carrying out lesson plans/activities to help students reach their academic goals. Assist students with physical tasks such as using the restroom, hand washing, daily living, etc. Carry out behavioral strategies (Applied Behavior Analysis), including proactive & reactive strategies and crisis intervention. Collect behavioral data based on each student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP). Assist with transportation of students between school and home, door‑to‑door, and during community‑based instruction. Establish and maintain appropriate interactions with students. Maintain a professional attitude and consistent respect towards the students. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent – required. One year of experience with children (childcare/special needs) – preferred. OR Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or a minimum of 4 years of active military duty – preferred.
