Physical Therapist Service Coordinator

Physical Therapy Services Coordinator Physical Therapy Services Coordinator (PTSC) at Crossroads Continuum will lead the Physical Therapy and Adapted Physical Education departments, designing and implementing individualized treatment plans, managing case loads, and collaborating with multidisciplinary staff to support students with autism in developing functional independence. Key Responsibilities Clinical Leadership Develop and oversee Physical Therapy programming across the school. Design and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals. Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations. Monitor student progress and adjust programming based on data. Provide both direct and consultative PT services. Collaborate closely with families, educators, and related service providers. Team Leadership Supervise and mentor Physical Therapists and the Adapted Physical Education Teacher. Facilitate department meetings and ensure consistency across programming. Support professional development and ongoing staff training. Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback. School-Wide Impact Partner with school leadership on initiatives that promote student wellness, physical activity, and functional independence. Assist with school-wide programs and events such as Special Olympics, Field Day, and swim trips. Participate in community outings and experiential learning opportunities. Qualifications Required Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy. Current Massachusetts Physical Therapy License. Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills. Exceptional communication and leadership abilities. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Preferred Experience working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. Previous supervisory or leadership experience. School-based experience. Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Physical Requirements All staff must successfully complete Crossroads' CALM safety training. This role requires the ability to: Move quickly and confidently in emergency situations. Pursue a student who may be eloping. Lift up to half of body weight.
