Overview
Registered Nurse needed for a travel assignment in a memory care long-term care setting in Gunnison, Colorado. Start date: 08/24/2026 for a 13-week contract. Responsibilities
- Assist and supervise day-to-day nursing activities during your tour of duty, ensuring alignment with federal, state, and local standards and facility policies.
- Administer medications and implement the resident care plan under the supervision of the nursing leadership; monitor and document resident status and respond to changes.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care, delegate appropriately to licensed and unlicensed staff, and ensure safety and quality of care for residents.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, provide clear communication to the Director of Nursing, and uphold resident rights and dignity.
- Apply infection control practices, participate in care planning, and support ongoing quality improvement efforts within the memory care and LTC environment.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Colorado.
- Colorado CAPS (Colorado Adult Protective Services) background check required.
- Ability to work in a long-term care/memory care setting.
- Availability to work a 3x12-hour day shift schedule.
- Access to reliable transportation (rural Gunnison has limited public transit).
