Position Overview

We are in search of a dedicated and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join an expanding team of imaging professionals dedicated to delivering outstanding patient care. Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct diverse ultrasound examinations, including those for abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, ensuring transparent communication at every step
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the delivery of top-tier diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any discrepancies or malfunctions
• Accurately document all procedures and uphold patient records within our electronic medical system
• Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best medical practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a comparable field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent credential
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• Proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques and adept patient positioning
