Registered Nurse, Critical Care (Day Shift)

ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Critical Care (Day Shift) in Encino, California.

Location: Encino, CA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM

Job Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role includes providing direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) while maintaining high standards of care and guiding patient/family education. The RN communicates with the physician regarding any changes in the patient's clinical condition and is expected to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or treatment response. Patient privacy and confidentiality are paramount.

Responsibilities

• Implement and evaluate patient care plans in the ICU setting.
• Provide direct patient care and maintain standards of care.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the physician.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient status.
• Ensure adherence to patient privacy and confidentiality regulations.

Required Experience

• Minimum of one year as a staff RN in an acute care hospital, specifically in critical care.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Critical Care RN (CCRN) certification preferred.
• COVID vaccination/boosters preferred.
• MediTech EMR experience preferred.
