Mechanical Engineer - EI Dallas, Texas Responsibilities Develop mechanical designs in support of Buildings projects, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, whole building energy modeling, and sustainability requirements reporting. Coordinate with other support disciplines and regional offices. Assist project managers in project management. Follow quality assurance and quality control plans. Travel periodically to project sites. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or architectural engineering with a mechanical focus from an ABET accredited university or college. Minimum of 3 years of building design and construction industry experience. Knowledge base of mechanical engineering principals related to building mechanical designs. Strong communication skills. Experience with Autodesk Revit. Proficient with MS Office Suite. Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam. Preferred Skills Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD. Experience with Carrier HAP or similar HVAC load analysis program. Experience with AIA MasterSpec.
