Builtechis currentlyseekinga Paralegal ready to join our fast-paced and team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Prepare, review, and manage subcontractsand repeat client contractsin coordination with in-house counsel, project teams, and clients. Maintain contract trackers and coordinate with internal teams to ensurecontractsare completed efficiently andin accordance withcompany processes and risk management protocols. Support project compliance bytracking andproactivelymanaging deal sheet reviews, preliminary notices,bonds,licensing,Certificates of Insurance (COIs), vendor agreements,notices, delays, claims, disputes,and mechanics' liens. Assistin-house counsel with litigation matters, includingmaintainingcalendars and dockets, reviewing documents, and compiling discovery materials. Manage state and municipal contractor licensingregistrations andrequirements. Maintain corporate entity records, including registrations, annual filings, and related documentation. Participate in cross-functional initiatives to improve business processesand mitigate risk. Qualifications Paralegal experiencewith sophisticated lawfirm or in-house legal department, ideally with a focus on construction law ora strong foundationincorporate orreal estate law. Paralegal certificate or Associate's/Bachelor's degree in Legal Studiesor a related field. Proficiencywith Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobatrequired; experience with AIA contractssoftwarepreferred. Strong organizationalandcommunicationskills. Ability to manage a high volume of time-sensitiveworkwhilemaintainingattention to detail andhigh qualitystandards. Ability to remain in a stationary position 95% of the time and constantlyoperatea computer and other office productivity equipment. Ability to occasionally lift and carry lightweight office items such as supplies or equipment. Valid driver's license.
