Being a CNA is about much more than completing a list of tasks.

You're often the person who spends the most time with a resident.

You're the one who notices when something is different.

You're the familiar face they look for.

You're the person helping them maintain their dignity, independence, and comfort.

What You'll Do

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care
• Help with meals and dining
• Assist with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation
• Obtain and record vital signs as assigned
• Observe residents and promptly communicate changes to the nursing team
• Support residents with activities of daily living
• Maintain resident comfort, dignity, and safety
• Work closely with nurses and other members of the care team
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Help create a clean, comfortable, and positive environment for residents

Qualifications

• Current Alabama Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Compassionate and respectful approach to caring for older adults
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work effectively with residents, families, and coworkers
• Long-term care, rehabilitation, hospital, or assisted-living experience is a plus
