The nurse will deliver high-quality care to critically ill patients. The position requires proficiency in managing complex medical conditions. Candidates must have current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS. Experience with charting systems, specifically Epic, is required. Nurses are expected to work every other weekend. On-call duties will be based on the patient census. The nurse will be part of an interdisciplinary team. Ability to float to other units may be required. Patient ratios are expected to be 1:4-5. Candidates should be comfortable with various medical procedures and protocols. Experience with ventilator management and care for multisystem organ dysfunction is essential. The candidate will engage in monitoring and managing patient progress. Strong communication skills and teamwork are necessary in this role.
