Registered Nurse (RN) - Critical Care Unit (CCU) - Nights

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Critical Care Unit (CCU). The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients with cardiovascular issues, post-surgical needs, and various other complex health conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the CCU.
• Monitor patient vitals and interpret telemetry strips.
• Titrate critical drips including pressors, sedation, and insulin.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including hospitalists and respiratory therapists.
• Assist in post-operative care and management of cardiac conditions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; CCRN preferred.
• Previous CVICU, SICU, or MICU experience required.
• Experience in managing and administering critical care medications and drips.
