Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.The Hot Section Engineering team is looking for a highly motivated and experienced engineer to join its team as a Principal Project Engineer for F135 Exhaust team. The Principal Project Engineer will be responsible for part-level ownership on a Component Integrated Product Team (CIPT) and will plan and execute assigned tasks to ensure the CIPT achieves overall component goals.This role will include direct interfacing opportunities with engineering management, program management, suppliers and government customers. The selected candidate will work with a team of individuals to meet requirements and achieve goals. The Principal Project Engineer will be technically proficient, communicate effectively, and be customer-focused to meet the bold demands of this Military engine program.Lead, mentor, and execute within an Agile Framework, facilitating planning, demos, and retrospective reviewsIdentify and addresses project problems and recommend resolutions to ensure the successful completion of projects.Facilitates project tasks with the various functional organizations to ensure alignment with overall project objectives.Prepare/present status and technical content to HSE Leadership, CIPT, Pratt & Whitney Upper Management and Customers.Initiate and manage hardware procurement/industrial effort as the engineering technical contact.Control Accounts Manager (CAM) responsible for schedule and budget for varies taskMust Have Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 8+ years of engineering experience OR An advanced degree with 5+ years of experience10% TravelQualifications We Prefer:Proficiency in use of program/project management tools (e.g. Systems Applications and Products (SAP), Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Teamcenter, Confluence, Jira).Completed CAM Training / CAM CertifiedDemonstrates strong communication abilities, including clear technical writing and effective engineering presentationsSkilled in providing technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering growth and developmentThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
