Medical Laboratory Scientist – Providence Health Plaza, Portland, OR Full-Time/Variable Shift The Medical Technologist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist Journeyman is responsible for accurately and timely reporting of high complexity laboratory test results with minimal supervision. The role performs pre‑analytical, analytical, and post‑analytical duties, including specimen evaluation, data analysis, instrument maintenance, and problem resolution. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Medical Laboratory Science from a NAACLS accredited MLS program. Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Physical, Biological, or Clinical Laboratory Sciences. Upon hire: National Medical Technologist – American Society for Clinical Pathology. Upon hire: National Medical Technologist – American Medical Technologists. Upon hire: National Medical Laboratory Scientist – American Medical Technologists. 1 year experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or exceed principal duties and functions of the MLS I job description. Preferred Qualifications 3 years clinical laboratory experience in a moderate and high complexity laboratory. Pay Range $37.84 – $58.75 per hour, plus shift differentials, overtime, and other incentives.
