Title
Inpatient Dialysis RN - Hemodialysis / Peritoneal Dialysis

Schedule
- Shift: 3 x 12-hr (11:00-23:00) + on-call
- Weekend requirement: Variable based on unit needs

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year dialysis or relevant inpatient RN experience
- Current state or compact nursing license
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
- Ability to cannulate AV fistula and AV graft
- Experience in troubleshooting dialysis machines and supporting ICU SLEDD cases
- Familiarity with Epic charting preferred

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis patients.
- Perform AV access cannulation (fistula/graft) and catheter management.
- Troubleshoot dialysis machines and manage alarms effectively.
- Monitor and manage dialysis complications, including hypotension, fluid overload, and clotting.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Compliance / Notes
- Local travelers not accepted - 100-mile radius rule applies.
- All requested time off (RTO) must be listed at submittal.
- Onboarding completion required within 48 hours of contract signing.
- Orientation modules will be completed onsite; RN modules average 4-6 hours (non-billable).
- Previous facility staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler.
