As a Software Engineer Lead within PNC's Lending Technology - Payments organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Dallas, TX, and Birmingham, AL. The Lead Engineer plays a critical role within a product‑aligned engineering team, serving as both a hands‑on technical expert and a strategic engineering leader. This role is responsible for designing, building, testing, and supporting modern software solutions that enable key banking functions. The Lead Engineer partners closely with product owners, Quality Engineering (QE), architects, business stakeholders, and engineers across multiple teams to deliver resilient, scalable, and secure applications.
